Christmas Holiday Condition

Prerequisites:

To successfully follow this guide you will require a hosted PBX system, a Windows/MAC based computer, an @ecn.net.au email address/@custom-domain email address

Step 1

1.       Log into the ECN portal using your login details.

Step 2

Select “My Services”

Step 3

Select the required service.

Step 4

1.       Select “Recorded Sounds”.

Step 5

1.       Select “Add Recording”.

 

Step 6

1.       Type name in the “Name” text box. Then select a system dial code from the drop down box under “System Dial Code”. Then upload the recorded file. Once details have been entered select “Save & Upload”.

 

Step 7

1.       Select “Apply PBX Changes”.

Step 8

1.       Select “Return To Service”.

Step 9

1.       Select “Announcements”.

 

Step 10

1.      Select “Add Announcement”.

 

Step 11

1.      Type name in the “Name” text box. Then select “Voicemail No Msg” from the drop down box under “Next Activity Type”. Select the extension required under “Next Activity”. Then select the audio file that was created previously under “Sound File”. Once details have been entered select “Save”.

       Note: If “Voicemail No Msg” is not available option refer to steps 25 to 30.

 

Step 12

1.       Select “Apply PBX Changes”.

 

Step 13

1.       Select “Return To Service”.

 

Step 14

1.       Select “Holidays”.

 

Step 15

1.        Select “Add Condition”.

 

Step 16

1.      Type name in the “Name” text box. Then select the green plus sign under “Add your holiday dates”. Then select the dates necessary. Under “Holiday Activity Type” Select “Announcement” located in the drop down box, the Announcement Created earlier should appear under “Holiday Activity”. Once details have been entered select “Save”.

 

Step 17

1.       Select “Apply PBX Changes”.

 

Step 18

1.      Select “Return To Service”.

 

Step 19

1.       Select “Call Routing”.

 

 

Step 20

1.      Select the required phone number.

 

Step 21

1.      Select the “Enable Holiday” check box.

 

Step 22

1.      Scroll to the bottom of the page and select “Save”.

 

Step 23

1.     Select “Apply PBX Changes”.

 

Step 24

1.     Select “Return To Service”.

 

Holiday Mode Activated

1.     

 

Step 25

1.     Select “Offices & Users”.

 

Step 26

1.     Select the preferred Extension.

 

Step 27

1.     Select the “Enable Voicemail” check box.

 

Step 28

1.     Select “Save & Close”.

 

Step 29

1.     Select “Apply PBX Changes”

 

Step 30

1.     Select “Return To Service”.
