Connect to your NetComm Wireless NB604N with an Ethernet cable (yellow cable supplied)
Open your web browser, e.g., Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, etc.
Enter the following number into the address bar and then hit Enter on your keyboard:
The modem Log In page will open. You will be prompted for a username and password.
Note: details above are default details; if you have changed the username or password please consult your local records.
Click OK to log in to the router
Click Wireless from the menu to the left of the screen
The Wireless Configuration page will be displayed.
Ensure that Enable Wireless is set to Enable.
Create a name for your wireless network and enter this into the field labelled SSID.
What is an SSID?
SSID is the “Wireless Network Name”, this will be displayed in the list of available wireless networks on your computer, tablet or phone
Once you have entered a network name (SSID), click Apply/Save.
From the Left menu choose Security.
Set the Network Authentication to WPA2. Further options will appear underneath.
Create a passphrase (password) that will be used to access your wireless network. This needs to be entered next to WPA-WAPI passphrase. You can click the link to display the currently configured passphrase.
Passphrase must be a minimum of 8 alphanumeric characters (the longer the better) and is case sensitive. You will need to enter this passphrase (password) when you connect a new device to the wireless network.
Once you have entered a password (pre-shared key), click Apply/Save
